The 1.1L is 1078cc with a 75mm bore so it is posible to bore it to 78mm to get 1.2L at 1159cc. Might be pushing it a bit to fit 1.3 (1256cc) pistons at 81mm bore size ....... All of the motors have the same stroke at 61mm - 2.40" so the pin heights will probably be the same .....
So OldOpelGuy - will those 11SR blocks punch out 6mm ????
My shift knob is clocked at about 5:00 instead of noon, it’s a minor thing but bugging me. I read these are pressed on for the GT’s, are the Manta’s pressed on too? How did it get clocked off center if it doesn’t screw off?
I put a 4-speed into my (previously) automatic Manta this weekend and had a few things come up that I'm not 100% on the answer to. I'm hoping someone here could snap some pictures of their car or just give me some details so i can finish the job!
I installed the clutch cable using...
