What are the Cam specs on a 1.6L head and how do they relate to a 1.9L one? Hydraulic version.. 1976 era.

Can't find it in any of my books.

Solid Lifters

Dang! Chas, You have got me hunting again - I have that info somewhere....

From memory the 1.6 and 1.9 cams in Euro Vauxhalls and Opels were mainly solid lifter cams and the hydraulics did not take over till the 2.0 litre motor appeared in 1979 ish.

There were specific cams for 1.3; 1.5; 1.6 and 1.9 motors but I have afeeling they were all very similar with just differences in the amount of timing advance that was dialed in to the cam wheel locating dowel.

Back to searching for the specs ..... :)

Damn!

Someone else starting to realise that these kits are real good value!

Good solid lifters for the 1.6 and 1.9 kits and hydraulics in the 2.0 kits....

Even if the cam is just standard it provides a real good core for a regrind as it is completly unworn ....

Just watch that you are not "sniped" at the last possible moment by "ed-stu-rob"
