When i got my GTs almost 2 years ago i was given a book with them, i completely forgot i had it until now and i found it burried in the back of a closet somewhere. Anyway, has anyone ever heard of the book Chilton's Opel 2 - repair & Tune-up Guide 1971-1974 ? it has a drawing of a manta on the cover.

This book has everything i've looked for in it, anything from specs and tune-up how to's to a section on engine rebuilding and solex overhaul instructions... it kinda makes me feel stupid for asking questions. Just thought i'd let you all know...

Old Fashioned!

Yep, Chilton's produced a wide range of Service Manuals to help people keep their Opels (and heaps of other cars too) on the road befroe we had OpelGt.com! The one you have is one of the better ones too!
