A nice looking 1968 GT sold Thursday at the Mecum Auction for $9,900.

Anyone know this car?

Is it this one? 1968 Opel GT . I don't know that car. I doubt it's a 1968. They are very rare. It doesn't have a split front two piece bumper, and the rear panel is not flat behind the license plate. The indented panel behind the license plate actually looks wavy. It is a nice looking GT though. I'm seeing some irregularities in the paint that I would want to see in person to make an evaluation. I think Mecum Auctions requires a 12% buyers fee if bidding online or 10% in person.

It was lot # J101 and sold on Friday. It is yellow with older aluminum wheels.
