2 Dr Sedan?

The Model 31 2-door Sedan is listed with the twin carb "11SR" motor as an option and a 3.89:1 diff ratio.
The "Rallye" Model 92 is listed with the same motor but uses a 4.11:1 diff ratio as does the Station Wagon with this motor.

According to the best info I have, the "standard" 1.1 engine offered that year was the lower 8.2:1 CR 11R engine. The 9.2:1 CR 11SR engine was only offered for the Rallye Kadett and GT and ALL 1.1 engines were offered only with 4.11 rear ends. Only the 4-speed 1.9 Rallye Kadett offered a 3.67 rear that year. All 1.9 A/T Kadett models were 3.18 rears except for the Rallye which, like both GT transmission types, had a 3.44 rear.

Options for Kadetts?

The first reply could be correct.According to opelgtsource.com/press/specs.htm only the 4.11 is mentioned. But I have seen a 1970 Wagon with the SR 1.1 engine(my dad had one a few years ago)which was from the original owner(original engine)I will give eveyone the total rundown next week after I pick up this 1970 Kadett Sedan parts car.I am sure at the factory they put in the car SR engines instead of the "R" also using the other 1.1 axle ratio instead of the 4.11.The press release also shows 3.44,3.67,and 3.18 ratios for the 1.9 engine cars but as you know these are not for the 1.1(totally different axles.).Thanks!
