James before I fixed the timing and stuff it did 0 to 60 and back at about 8 seconds.

Your right it does need retested with the added brakes and cam.

Wow what a rush. James FYI between 6 and 7 seconds from a standing stop back to a stop after hitting 60 in the middle. Didn't spin the tires and hit 60 in 2nd. ... OK I was flogging it just a bit. Hit 7k at first shift and was over that on 60.

Brakes about pulled my wide open eyes from the sockets. A bit of force there.

Ok now I'm coming down from the adrenaline rush. Was kinda funny as I turned it around on a deserted stretch of road I was thinking of the Blues brothers movie "our lady of blessed acceleration dont fail us now". Before I left I put the radar detecter in it. I need to fix the cigarette lighter too. If you've seen the movie you might understand.

Kind of funny but I am finally starting to drive my car. Had to go out and switched keys after I looked outside. I did kinda pass my destination by a few miles and got it up to 95 or so on the way out of town towards the Royal Gorge. It pulls very well in all 5 gears and although I was a bit timid it rode well and handled very well. Kinda funny that I have no problem doing speed blasts but putting it on the highway scares me. There is a sharp corner coming back and it sat flat at 75 through it in 5th. Just another progression in it being restored I guess.... to have that first longer cruise. Oh and it was eyed by pretty much everyone including two county patrol officers.
