Don't know if this annual meeting is a jinx for restaurants or what...

We held them for a couple of years at the British Beer Works in Walpole, MA. That place closed in 2017.

Last year we went to a more central location at a BBW in Worcester, MA. Well, that location closed last August. So right now we are looking for a new place. Any suggestions for the Worcester area or some location North of there?

Most of the 14 who came last year came from North of Worcester. Greg, Rick Miller and his Dad came up from Hyannis which is ~2 1/2 hours from there. I am a little over an hour away.

How about around Lowell? That would be about the same for you and the Cape folks, but a little closer for the Maine and NH contingent.

We like to recommend the Joseph M Downes Parking Garage at 75 John St., Lowell, MA 01852. It usually has plenty of spaces available after 5pm. The Lee A. Roy Parking Garage is located at 100 Market St., Lowell, MA 01852 and is a good second choice.

I was told I needed to grow one by next year. :no: After a couple of days, I'm looking for a razor.

It was a great day for a ride and it was nice to get together with some of the Opel elite. I keep hoping my Opelitis will come out of remission after breathing the same air as this group.

We did see photographic evidence that Bob's garage is rising up. I think it will need to be commissioned when done.

I still think the NE group needs to have a summer time event, a time when Opels are allowed on the road.

It was great to see everyone again. The idea for a Summer meet sounds good. Maybe we could tie it into an event like the RI Mini Melee or the Lemons race at Thompson speedway or just gather somewhere.
