I still need to book our room, car has been registered since January 30th! :veryhappy Jessie and I ate at Motorheads last year. We thought the food was decent, a little loud but would likely go back again. If I remember correctly the have a large outdoor covered patio we all could hang out on.

Anyone looking for GT parts?

As you say the menu at Motor Heads is okay, but it is the collection of memorabilia that makes it worth going to. The guy who owns it has deep pockets and is constantly getting new stuff and expanding his display areas. I think he is committed to making it a must see stop on Route 66. He is holding Cruise-In's there quite often and encourages Car Clubs to meet there. I have talked to him a bit about our group and I think we can get into an area of less noise.

We are just a little over a month away now, time fly's.

One less GT on the road

I suppose if i posted more often, i would get it right. Last Tuesday my GT made contact with another car and the front corner was rearranged. I don’t think it’s repairable. I may have a kadett to bring in a year or two unless i can find a GT in my budget.

Oh No!! Hate to see an Opel in that condition. We have Deer here running around all over the place. I am afraid to take the Opel anywhere for fear of an accident. Hope you can get enough cash from the other guy to find a decent replacement.

Gerry, Don't settle too cheap ! If this is an insurance claim you are entitled to a settlement of REPLACEMENT COST, or repair
of your damaged vehicle. ( Before the Collision damage of course ). That is true whether you or the other driver is at fault. ( In most states )
..If you have collector car insurance with a stated value ( you should ) that makes it easier.
.....Advice based on 35+ years of body repair business , also auto damage appraisal for shops and insurance companies.

We are just about one month out now and I am working on some final details. I will be picking up the 2019 decals today, and ordering Awards. Talked to owner of Motor Heads last week about Friday dinner. I hope to have a better idea how many will eat that night when the time comes. I am looking at leaving the Hotel about 6:00pm that evening so maybe a few more can make it. I will be posting more later.

I don't know about running the thing, but with you guys showing up and moving around town as a group I think we appear larger than were are. This gives us a somewhat outsized influence with the organizers. We are not the biggest group but we draw attention.

Well it looks like we are going to try to make it. It is nice that it is not the same weekend as Nationals. We registered a car last night and I just have to call the hotel this afternoon when I get home from work.

We are looking forward to it!

I'll take the points, plugs, condenser. How bad is dent in front bumper? The one I have is okay but also has a dent.

Okay folks, I have been trying to get this together for some time. The Coat, Shirts and Hats are Now ready from Greco Graphics. It may still take a day or so to get the online store up and running. I will start a new thread for that when ready. I am going to attach the product selection stuff they sent me. If you feel the need to jump the gun on ordering I will also post their phone number. I am not sure on pricing yet or what shipping will be. Putting the store together has been an issue. They are thinking of getting away from online sales. I can tell you the coat will not be cheap, it takes over two hours run time on the embroidering machine. Shirts and hats should be about like last year. These are made to be Generic and will be fine for any event. You will have an option for the sleeve patch for Springfield. The coat is light weight and water resistant, with hood in collar, think Carlisle! I had them do a test run on the coat for me. Pictures to follow.

Greco Graphics phone # 217-483-2877. Ask for Mike or Adam.
