Hey guys, working overtime today to generate some tuition funds for the kid and happened across what I believe are 2 67 Kadetts.(year stamped on tail lights?) One is a L with a 1500 badge and the other is a LS. The LS has different rear windows than the L. I don't know much about the Kadetts and I am not really interested, except it might be nice to have that 1.5 head for my GT. I asked the guy at the house if they were for sale and he said maybe, they were his girlfriends and she loved them but they have been sitting a long time and are pretty beat looking, one had an inpection sticker from 1990, the other had no inspection sticker on it so no telling how long it has sat there.I asked if he knew what size engine, 1.9 or 1.1, not seeing the 1500 yet, and he said he thought it was one of each. I thought about the recent post of someone looking for the 1.1 engine crossmember and another post about the different windows in the sport kadett and thought someone might be interested if they were for sale. The guy said they might be or that she might be interested in joining this site to find parts. I left my name and number and he said she would get back to me so....

It's been a few days and no reponse from the owner, if I hear nothing by this weekend, I'll swing by and see what's up.

OK, here's the scoop. The lady doesn't want to seel the 1500 L model but she would sell the LS and it has the 1900 engine with a 4-speed. I took a few pictures so if anyone is interested pm me with your e-mail address and I'll send the photos. I didn't get under the car and look at the underside but it has been a long time since it was parked. I don't know if it's worth bothering with but what the hey
