Stock or any "non-internal resistance" coil (Bosch "red" coil, etc.):
1. Leave stock + wires "as is" and connected to + side (15) of coil.

For reference, here is a photo of a 2.4 Opel exhaust manifold. Compared to the typical Sprint manifold, it has larger runners, a larger collector flange, and has the outlet flange located further back than a 1.9's.
