Greetings,
I just aquired a 71' GT with factory rims.
Wondering if there is an economical option for alloy rims?
Are there any rims I can get that would fit, or do I
need to source specific Opel rims?
Does anyone have advice?

There have been lots of posts on wheels which have a wealth of info in them. As a brief answer to your question though, opels take a 4X100 bolt pattern that is the same as that of the BMW 320i through the late '70's. Search trough the forum for more info.

I had posted about this too.. and found a wealth of info from members here. Besides the 320 BMW wheels, some of the Datsun Z series had the exact 4 bolt and the same backspacing. I have 2 GT's now one has wheels from a VW scirroco/1/4 wheel spacers and the GT has Datsun 280z turbine wheels,(no spacers perfect fit.
