Wetsand, buff, re-anodize would put it back to original. Buffing alone would be the cheapest and easiest and will bring most of the shine back but will eventually dull up again. Or if you want it shiny it can be chromed and would cost a little more than having it re-anodized.
I'm having my Manta painted signal yellow with black stripes/accents. Since the bumper ruber is so hard to come by, I plan on having the mouning holes for the rubber trim welded closed. Then have the bumper sanded smooth and anodized black. Let's just hope this works.
My shift knob is clocked at about 5:00 instead of noon, it’s a minor thing but bugging me. I read these are pressed on for the GT’s, are the Manta’s pressed on too? How did it get clocked off center if it doesn’t screw off?
