picked up my 1.1L from the rebuilders today, im a little concerned about using the original 62k mile cam/lifters and oil pump, the cam and lifters look to be in excellent shape with no real signs of wear, The tolerances on the oil pump are fine and within specs. I’ve looked for a new oil pump but can’t seem to find one , do they make/sell a rebuild kit for the 1.1 oil pump?
I did find some gt wheels and had them bead blasted

You will be lucky to find oil pump gaskets, so much for a lot of 1.1 stuff. I have some brand new gears for a 1.1, but cannot recall if I used them on the last 1.1 GT I built or not. I had the gaskets NOS for the pump, and I did a tracing. I plan on laser cutting those

I may have some 1.1 gaskets and stuff. If I see what it looks like, I don't mind digging through my stuff and checking.

thanks, ill be willing to buy anything you want to sell.
See, the problem is I have a couple boxes of Opel stuff that's not CIH. I don't know what's 1.1 and what's pre-CIH other stuff. It's all a visual reference thing. If someone says "Hey, do you have one of these?" then I look.

Wondering... Is this 1.1 engine going into a GT ? Or a Kadett Rallye ? Other ? ?
Not a '67 Camero RS ? ? ? ...Your 'name' might be a clue .

I found/brought a new set of oil pump gears in eBay Italy, hopefully I’ll have them by mid May.
first Opel 1981 I’m including a picture of the oil pump gasket.

That is a fine looking Kadett, front bumper and grill have escaped the ravages of time!

I have never owned a Camaro ( or a Mustang ) but the first generation Camaros are still my favorites.
With a 1.1 ( 66 c.i. ) and a 396 you have both extremes of the era's power.. Have Fun !

And I meant to include a comment about the "Blue Light Special" behind your RS.
We hope that was in a parade or car show setting ...
