That is a neat idea, but, has there ever been any concern over using the stock main bolts? As far as I know, the stock bottom end is pretty much bulletproof as-is. Head studs for sure, you can get more even clamping that way... Where's Bob?

Did anything ever come of the plan to getting another run of rod bolts made?
Alternatively, does anyone have an extra set available?

Why only ten sets? Can't we get enough for everybody? I'd like to have a couple sets, too! I'd pay up front gladly, also. Geez, we've waited years for this to come around again!

Nice work, Bob! I would be in for a set or two of anything made by ARP that fits the 1.9.
Stan was breaking rocker studs because of ridiculous spring pressure, according to Roger. Regardless, I would use new ARP rocker studs if they were available. It is all good, cheap insurance. You know, when you're sitting in lineup before the race, some of the things that go through your mind, like, are those old bolts out of a junk engine gonna hold up another fifteen minutes of 7500 rpm?
Please remove this thought from the list of pre-race mental jitters...
If one of the problems in making the rocker studs was all about the oil hole, I would be glad to have them without it.
