I have a set of connecting rod bearings that some idgit sold me many moons ago that are NOT what he said they were. They are marked 4869 on the bearings themselves and on the box (which may or may not be right) VP 91136 STD (suitable for Opel). Don't work with my GT ('70 1.9) - totally wrong size. Anybody know what these are for model wize?

Search finds

Well that just had ten-foot pole marks all over it... you think they could have found SOME different name.
I did actually come up with some searches that had Vandervell VP ***** bearings but none with this number and I'm sure that's do to the age. (The box 'looks' old though the bearings look dandy.) I was hoping to find out what they were in case someone wanted them, etc. Maybe I can have my now good friend Tuck mic them (he's the one that knows my crankshaft so well). Shoot, he might even be able to find them in one of his big books of knowledge. Doesn't anyone have one of those part # reference sheets?
