Giotto Bizzarrini produced a few motor cars around 1967 , known as "1900 GT". Many parts for this car were straight off the Opel parts shelf. I am trying to identify , in particular, the steering column and ignition lock used by Bizzarrini. I would be most grateful if anybody could post a picture of a mid 1960s upper column with ignition lock.

I have seen and photographed a few Bizzarrinis at Concorso Italiano, Monterey..Those images are in another computer.

But I was really surprised to discover that a few Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europas were built with Opel 1900 motors ! ! New to me.

This is what I found with a few minutes search... There are some under hood and interior pictures.
If you are asking for pictures of Opel columns in Opel 1900s someone here may help.

Frankly, the Opel GT looks better. That car looks like a cross between a Lotus Europa and a Studebaker Avanti.

It does not look like an Opel GT Steering column to me. Being that only 5 of the 20 cars had Opel GT engines installed, I would suspect your column maybe a Fiat based.

I found pictures of 2 Bizzarrinis taken at Concorso Italiano , Monterey , CA Aug 2010
One had the hood open, Corvette motor visible.

2 Opel GTs shared the field that weekend. Gil's Conrero was only 3 or 4 spaces from the Bizzarrinis here
