I have been looking everywhere for a graphics file of the blitz logo. I've tried saving a bunch of things I've found on the web but none come out clean enough. I just want a simple 2 color logo that will look sharp at 2-3 inches in size. I'm going to have the centers printed for my BBS's and it needs to look clear. Thanks

What I found out is that my wheel centers are larger than normal, 2 3/4 instead of standard 2 3/8 so I can't order them in a color that suits the rims or the car. I found a graphics place that will print and cut on silver vinyl for car graphics. I just have to get them the file. Both logos looked good but Gary's was more what the end product would be. Kmon's I was able to delete the actual logo and black the background. That way when it is actually printed it will look like Gary's on a black background.Thank you both

Blitz Center Caps

Hi nobody,

We're on the same page. I have a set of BBS wheels I would like to use on my Opel GT. But, not until I can cover the BMW logos with the Opel Blitz.

Are you working with a screen printer?

How are you thinking of adhering the material to your existing wheels center caps?

Good thinking!

BBS caps

Nobody/SoCalOpelGt;
The solution I used was the older GT rallye wheels. The center caps that were about 10" in diameter, with 4 holes to allow the tops of the lug nuts to protrude. The blitz medallion in the center of these is aluminum, and are held to the cap by brads, that can easily be ground off with a Dremel. When off, the rest of the brad can be ground flush, and you have a perfect medallion to bolt/glue over the BMW/BBS emblem on the cap. I have done this to several different types of wheels, BBS, Enkei's and soon, a set of Libres. These medallions are perfect in size to cover the wheel manufacturer's logo. Attached is an ebay auction currently running for some of these caps

Am I lucky?

Well I found somebody that said she could do it but is quite a distance from me. Then she said the person she bought the company from lives in the same town that I do. When she mentioned the company name I realized he is about 3 blocks from me. I took a modified graphics file from Kmon to him and more than enough info for him to do it. He said no problem they would be done in about a week. I picked a gold that is close to the wheel color and the rest is solid gloss glack. They will be the same self adhesive backing they use for auto graphics. I asked how much and he told me 10 to 15 for the 4, I decided I wanted 8. When I pick them up I'll post a pic of them.

Opel GT wheel caps

BQS4,

Great tip!

Last summer, a woman left a message on my winshield saying that seeing this Opel GT brought back good old memories. She had a new one back in 1972 and it still is her favorite car she remembers most.

She ended up giving me a box of Opel stuff she had collected over the years and 3 of these were in the box.

I'll dig them out tonight and then be on the hunt for 1 more.

Thank again!

I'm bidding on a set on eBay..

I'm in the same boat and I found the stick on stainless emblems on eBay (item # 2474393159) but I doubt if I can use these this year. If someone needs them in a hurry, I won't increase my bid and they'll be yours. They are going for about $9.00 out of England.

About 9 hours to go....

I just checked those and they are the 2 3/8 size, which is pretty standard for BBS. I just have to be special and have an odd size. I won't bid on them you can have em, but thanks anyway.

Opel Caps for BBS

I have the BMW Alpina alloy wheels and the BMW Basket Weaves, also by BBS to use on the Opel GT.

I've been wanting to see if the lighter alloy wheels makes a significant difference. But, I didn't want to have any BMW logos on the Opel GT or even drive the Opel without any wheel caps.

Looking forward to a quality wheel cap with the Opel Blitz!

This is what I've been fighting with. First to get then to match and now to get rid of the 2 3/4 inch BMW logo.

I did these on my rims. The caps are from Enki. I got these centers off Ebay. They are a little smaller than the Enki centers, but I just centered them very well, and you can't even tell.

Figured I'd post the final result of my efforts on this. When I went to pick them up he wanted 5 bucks, I gave him a 20. I think I got my moneys worth. Further back in this thread is a before pic.
