Thanks to a good friend, I was able to get a authentic Blue Max Brochure.

So I have scanned it and cleaned it and put it up for everyone.

I have the 300 dpi versions if someone wants it to print for themselves.

Yes and yes.. All Blue Maxes are automatic, with sunroof.

They are also the only 1973' Luxus model that comes in Strato Blue, not Regency Blue.

Only built for the mid-1973 Model year.

Blue Max

Charles;
Everything in that brochure is my 73 Luxus EXACTLY!! I just didn't have the actual "Blue Max" emblems or stickers. I sold the body to Eric Pare of Orphan Motorsports in NC. Only, it's not Strato Blue and it doesn't have the vinyl top. It does, or did, have a mint condition battery box!

Well then its not it "Exactly".. to be a true Blue Max requires the Strato Blue paint scheme, and the vynil top. They are as critical as the sunroof and automatic.

So it would seem yours is actually a Regency Blue, Luxus with Auto and Sunroof. Still rare, just not a Blue Max.

Blue Max

Charles;
Let me re-phrase that, mine WAS Strato blue, but, I repainted it, and the vinyl top came off as I spotted a rust bubble under it, but, it was strato blue with a dark blue vinyl top. At the time I had the car, I didn't know near as much as I do now about Opels, let alone what a "Blue Max" was or even exsisted
