i am just wondering how hard it is to put a "body kit" on a GT? i am just trying to figure it out incase i have to keep my current GT, i'd like to know if its worth getting the body kit to "hide" body work in the quarters and rockers. i have an ugle quarter that i dont feel like fixing but all else looks well.

If you don't want to or havent the skills to make the body look right stock then you will have a much harder time trying to make fender flares blend into the exsisting fenders. The fiberglass must be molded into the exsisting ones using resin and it must all be hand sanded untill they match eatch other.

Not easy at all. I made an entire fender flare, spoiler, rocker panel kit from scratch for another car. I thought it wouldn't take long. Putting flares on one fender takes as long as fixing all the fenders back to stock. Fabricating the parts was easy and they fit great (all steel). The subsequent bodywork (welding, blending and painting) took a long time. It looked great.

Sold the car after 4 years for about the price of the bodywork (if pro done). Within 2 weeks the guy ran it over a curb. It looks really ugly when damaged and costs twice as much to fix.
