Starting today I'm going to be stocking up on body panels from 2 shells. I'll be keeping spares for myself but there is more than I need. If you need something let me know soon before I start cutting.

my friend ace would be interested in anything you have, especially full floor pans, anything from the front clip, and the rear tail panel.

Ok here's the whole scoop. One is 72 and the other 73 but both pretty healthy front end damage. I'm collecting spares for myself and will be loading up my little shed till it colapses from the weight of all the parts. I know that I don't need 2 of everything and will sell off what I can't keep. Anything over my purchase price will go to the Member here that I got them from. In your requests you need to be specific as in cut here or not there. I'm including a drawing that should help. Just draw on it and let me know.

Body Parts...

Here is the pic of the area I'm in need of. It doesn't show the rear marker cut out on the drawing, but I need it to be cut above that by 2" or more so that I have the whole marker hole and I can line up the panels properly. You could even give me a little more above the wheel arch if possible. Please let me know the cost before you cut. I want to make sure that I am adhering to my budget. Money is getting a little tight. The sacrifices we make for our beloved Opels!

Thanks -

- John

To be really honest these have to be cut before my land lady or anybody gets wind of them being here. I want the parts to add to my stock pile but there is just to much to add at one time. I looked up some pricing on shipping and that fender area is about 20 bucks to ship and I'd be happy with 25 for me. The problem parts are rear panels and floor boards. It's 65 to ship them anywhere in the US. Doors, roof panels and anything that big is a come get it item. Unless you have a friend that flies a jet and comes to Colorado from time to time.

I figure I have maybe a week to cut everything and either store it or send it to scrap.

As I mentioned earlier they both have some pretty extensive front right damage. Neither are rolling at this time so movement is a big issue. Lets see the doors and rear panel from the 73 are spoken for and whichever has the best drivers rear fender is gone as well. Alot of the trim pieces will go into my stock but that leaves alot left over too. If it comes off the shell and you need it you might want to speak up. I'll cut it as you need but when it's gone it's gone.

Ok, last chance for body panels. After a few missed opportunities my intent is to start the cutting either tomorrow or Sunday and possibly have them both cut this weekend. I intend to cut the rockers and floors as a whole piece and kind of wing it from there. So if you want or need something let me know. So far the drivers rear has been spoken for and a few other inquiries, which means there are alot of things left that will probably get scrapped. Speak up and I'll cut it off as you need.

I was asked If I would post this one. How much of an Opel shell can you fit in an 01 Chevy silverado? The pic says it all, and the front glass is in the passenger seat.

Just a note on an odd piece. It seems both have good rear trim rings, imagine that. I'll get busy with the cutting here shortly on the one here. So the excess can go to scrap tomorrow. If anyone cares I use a gas powered demo saw with a metal blade, it goes through a car like it was butter with very minimal heat and distortion.
