This was my weekend:
.) Remove belt-driven fan. I don't know if I should have had to remove the radiator and shroud, but I did.
.) Re-install electric fan.
.)Replace radiator hoses with "close" matches. They seem to be working thus far.
.)Replaced battery. Seems like a pretty good way to give ones' self a back spasm.
.)Looked @ water pump. Realized water pump is not making chirping sound...my carbeurator seems to be???
.)Removed Everything from behind the seats to trace the sending unit wire. Found short right above gas tank. Repaired short, now Gas gauge works again.
.)While doing #6, found that the vapor recovey replacement seems to be leaking. Reconnected pvc, "t's," a bit tighter.
.) degreased engine. Found that oil is leaking from-front of head gasket, timing cover, and water pump area.
.)While doing #8, found that I have antifreeze coming from, at least pooling inside a bolt-hole at the front of the head?
.)Thought about diving into the windshield wiper wiring (looking for that little blue wire). Decided Laphroaig was a much better decision...
(I've had fewer scars coming from some bar-fights in my younger days).
