i was wondering if anyone has ever used this type of camshaft or if it would be a good deal for it.

It'll work great, unless you have a later 4-bearing head. As you can see, it's a 3-bearing cam.

i doubt that it would be better then the 290H setup that most use in there gt's

I have some of each, the 3-brg heads from 67 and 69 Kadets, 4-brg heads came on my 70 GT and 74? Manta parts donor.
What does Stage 2 mean?
It's a good price so far, too bad there are no lifters with it.
Also, keep in mind a 4-brg cam will work in a 3-brg head, not the other way around, there are posts about this...

Visa Versa

A three bearing cam will work in a four bearing head - just that the unused cam bearing shell MUST be moved to cover the oil supply hole in the extra journal.

I have this new Isky "99" grind cam on a three bearing core and this peachy '72 four bearing head without the two front cover bolts ........
