I just ordered the kit to convert my weber carb from a water choke to an electric choke. I also ordered the rejet kit to supposedly give me petter performance and hp. Have any of you done this? If so, is it pretty easy to do and have you gotten good results?

Has anyone ....???

I saw this old thread and was wondering if someone has done it yet?
I am planning on rebuilding my 32/36 DGV and wanted to get some feedback ....
What to watch out for?
Helpfuls hints? etc...
Being a newbie at this, any word of advice will be greatly appreciated!

The 32/36 is pretty easy to work on. If you are just doing gaskets and such (not the full overhaul/rebuild like in the books), it goes pretty quick. Make sure all the fuel passages are nice and clean and secure the ball socket linkage with a new or decent lock tab washer. You don't want that to loosen, the washer with inside flats just behind the ball nut will move forward and can lock the throttle open (ask me how I know. In a snow storm, no less:eek: ).
