The reason for my question is because I can't seem to find this canister. Is it on all Opels? The hoses that go to the cannister are not off the carb either?

You didn't hear it from me, but I removed all traces of the canister and hoses.....It got in the way of my current battery location. ;)

There is no cannister in the nose of the car. The PO must have taken it out. Know where I could get another one??

Just post to the group, you may not get an actual one for a GT, but, you can adapt one from a Manta/Sportwagon/Sedan

or anything else

For the most part, a charcoal canister is a charcoal canister is a charcoal canister. I like the ones the little "rice burners" use, as they tend too be smaller and easy to mount somewhere out of the way.
