Does anyone know of a source for the little plastic clips that hold the chrome trim on the wheel arches of a Manta or Ascona? ( I believe there are 8 on each wheel)
Also does anyone know if the rear wheel-arch chrome strip on a Manta would fit an Ascona?

There's a company called AU-VE-CO that specializes in all the various little auto specialty clips/screws/fasteners. Search the web and you'll find them. The chrome strips are the same for the Manta/Ascona

I've been searching for these clips as well, and found that OpelGTSource sells the ones for the fender trim. The clips that hold the lower rocker trim however, are not available. They're slightly bigger than the fender clips. I suspect that Auveco Products - Automotive, Industrial and Specialty Fasteners has them, but I don't have one handy to track down the part number or spec. Does anyone have any of these clips, or perhaps know of a part number or source?

Todd, the Opel parts catalog I have shows the following:

rocker panel molding clip P/N 174716 (16 req'd, I believe 16 does both sides)

wheel opening clip P/N 174722 (18 req'd, I believe 18 does 2 moldings)

Can't help with a source though.

AU-VE-CO does have the arch clips along with other Opel clips.

Those are not the correct ones, the top plastic clip is supposedly for a Kadett Wagon with belt line wood grain.
The lower rocker trim part number for Au-ve-co is 10617 1970-on GM, I just compared these and they should work, the fender surround I have NOS, but no number for them

Just got a Manta rear-wheel arch (chrome strip) for my Ascona Wagon and it fits !! (Not from OPGT)

Gil OGTS still has them for the wheel arches on Manta and Ascona GM#03438722 as of earlier this year when I got them for my Manta re-do.
For the rocker trim NAPA 665-1307 will substitue nicely for the original ones.
Also I'm using #4 flat head sheet metal screws to replace a couple of the double headed rivits to hold the clips.
