He says selling for grandparents and waiting on pics of actual car...who knows...but maybe?

I caught that too.
But, to be fair, I can get ANY Opel GT running like a top for less than $1500 in parts and service (not labor).
I couldn't make ANY rusty GT to excellent condition for less than $10,000

So, a perfect GT that doesn't run is a $10,000 car. A running rust bucket with a perfect engine is a $2000 car at best.

Hmmm. It will be worth keeping an eye on. How would he know the value of a car stored under a car port if he doesn't even have pictures? Sure, from memory but without pictures the car is worth $100.
