console compatibility

does anyone know if a 1970 plastic console will fit any other years. i know they changed the light panels above the steering wheel from round to rectangles but i don't know if the absolute dimensions/screw holelocations are the same

i'm pretty sure they are the same through all the years, i could be wrong though
