Shown is the Griffin racing radiator which I measured and figured would fit the Manta and Ascona chassis. Benefits include lighter aluminum construction, reasonable cost (about $220), crossflow design, larger tanks, and improved cooling fin design. I fabricated brackets at either side and the bottom, had my friend TIG them on, and now the radiator is a direct drop-in replacement using all stock mounting points.

In addition to the updated radiator (which has no filler neck by the way), my ITB car will be getting a remote filler neck, silicone coolant hoses, and Aeroquip socketless fittings and hose for the heater hoses. AN fitting were welded onto the stock thermostat housing and water pump.
