Pull my Carb. off to replace the heat shield and decided to take of the intake and exhaust manifold to replace the rusted bolt bolts on the manifold for new exhaust coming in a couple days....Then WOOOOOW!!!! A 3 inch crack in the center exhaust ports, right in the top, was blowing exhaust out onto the Carb. I have a complete exhaust system on its way and no manifold to put it on.

Can I have it welded or Does anyone have an exhaust manifold to get rid off (that is not cracked). There is one on Ebay right now. But I would like to help out a fellow Opeler, if someone on this site has one.

I've bead blasted it and polished it.

Ken,

I was just assuming most folks cannot get the 2 unattached. I would take an exhaust manifold or an exhaust/intake. I can get mine apart and install the exhaust manifold but if anyone has one that they cannot get apart I'll take it.
Let me know if you have either, I'll gladly pay the shipping cost.

I would love to see Stan run in his Opel, but work and 2 teenage kids (17, 18) at home its hard for me to leave them alone during the week (if you know what I mean). They think my house is Hotel Opel.....when I'm away...
