Okay, time to pick the collective opel mind. I just installed the crane ignition settup in my car last night, and lo and behold.....it wont start. I did everything as it said, but it just wont fire. I do get spark from the coil to the distributor, but not from the distributor to the plugs. Any Ideas? The box has an led light to let you know it should be firing and it is working, I am just stumped. Help please. Oh! I also installed a 65 amp alternater at the same time(if that matters).

the cap and rotor were installed about 6 months ago and has about 5000 miles on them. they worked 2 days ago, but not now. do you think it could be the cap and rotor?

ok, here is what I did. I left the dist. in the car, lined the rotor with the #1 cylinder mark on my dist(4 oclock) then i took out the points and the condensor. then i put the modulator and the mount and shutter in and alligned it like it said to in the manual. do you think the shutter made the rotor stick up higher? is that what you mean calvin? Another ?, is this unit supposed to take away the vacuum advance? thanks
