I measured the end of the pulley where it goes through the TC seal on three parts and it measures 1.776", with a groove of + or - a few ten thousandths of an inch.(Mitutoyo digital caliper) I sold it to another site member and he pointed out the groove. I would doubt that a TC seal would create an indent on the pulley even that it's minimal but rather factory to help seal the TC to the pulley and I would it be advisable to install a new TC seal just to make sure? Would there be a max depth of a groove on the pulley that might allow oil to weep out.
Thanks
Yup, OGTS sells a sleeve to cover up the groove that forms from the seal scrubbing against it. Better yet, call OGTS and see if they can just send you a pulley that isn't grooved or get an ungrooved pulley from someone.
