Looking for a crank trigger wheel or crank trigger wheel / pulley combination.
also looking for the crank position sensor holder and crank position sensor.

I've had the toothed pulleys and found them to be really cool and make alternator belt tightening extremely easy. Almost no tension needed on the belt because it can't slip. But the toothed pulley system is extremely noisy and you have to take steps to assure that all 3 toothed pulleys are aligned with each other. That's doable, but a big PIA. Just call Charlie or maybe OGTS has the cover and a sensor they could sell you.Risse Motorsport sells a crank wheel and holder. Downside is it requires all toothed pulleys (which they sell) and will set you back about $600-700 for everything
How about a picture of it so we can see how the sensor was mounted ??It’s not easy to get the timing cover that Gordon is talking about. You’d have to find someone with a 2.4 that wants to use a different timing cover. Not that long ago I considered selling mine. Now I’m not sure. The “what if I go EFI later?” question circles around in my mind. A carb is what I want for the car though, so I don’t need to run a 2.4 cover.
Remember this is upside down. So the Hall effect sensor would be pointed upwards towards the crank. How about a picture of it so we can see how the sensor was mounted ??

I Googled this and the first result pretty much covers it.I read that the 60/2 toothed wheel is not good for high rpms using the microsquirt. Not sure but would think it would be the same for the holley system. BUT WHATS HIGH RPMS??
I'll be addressing the trigger mount in the next couple weeks and probably a different trigger wheel also...
NO!!!!! you'll warp it!!! just make a bracket that bolts to the oil pump cover using 2 of its mounting bolts and use a treaded body crank sensor...seems like I could just TIG weld an aluminum plate with a hole drilled in it to that location. I just got a TIG welder last year and am always looking for fun little projects like that.
Sounds like you know how to make things happen! So, 3 questions for you:I don't think it would take much to adapt readily available trigger wheels to the stock crank pully. And just a simple bracket to mount a sensor with a threaded body..
Me?? I'd probably machine my own. But I did find a 5.75" 36/1 wheel on ebay that should clear the timing cover when mounted behind the crank pulls.1) where would you get the steel Reluctor wheel? I think I have seen them at DIY auto tune for right around $30 in 3 different diameters, one of which was 6 3/4” which would probably be the right size for an Opel GT
Either off the 2 bolts on the oil pump housing. Or the two bolts in front of the timing cover on the left hand side..where would you attach the mounting bracket? I don’t know the internal passages of the engine so would be hesitant to drill and tap and hit one (although I love to drill and tap) —- we were typing at the same time, so you answer this one above .
Thank you for the generous offer. I am in contact with Charles and he is going to check his inventory for me to see what he has available. If someone really needs a 2.4 timing cover and oil pump, I’d sell it.
Charles might be able to get a 2.4 crank pulley with the trigger wheel. The CPS is pretty standard.
Well ???It’s possible he could send me a nice one to replace mine. I’d be surprised if he had a 2.4 cover that he could part with. He’s an EFI guy. My GT is all about staying away from modern electronic control of everything.
