1975 only, those cars had fuel injection. 1974 Opels still had the Solex carb and the 'normal' exhaust manifold. There was also the 1968-1972 Rekord Sprint, but those cars were never imported into North America.

I stand corrected. By the man who doesn't sleep. Um, what's happening at 3:04 in the morning, Bob?

So, the "Sprint" manifold, which is so highly sought after, was installed in the '68-'72 Rekord Sprint? And was it the same design during all of those years? Now I understand the origin of the name (I think).

I saw this picture on the classicopels site, where it was called a "Sprint" manifold (downloaded by Ruediger, so I guess it was a "German" manifold from a Rekord). There was another photo referred to as "Otto's modified '75 FI Sprint manfold" (which I will post below). Are they the same, or were there differences between the "Sprint" and FI manifold?
*****Um, it's 10:04 where I'm at when I posted that, not 3:04!
Yes, the Rekord Sprint and 1975 FI 'Sprint' manifold are the same. It does appear that Otto ground the webs away on his manifold.
