Got A New Problem Guys I Need To Repair The Floor Boards So I Am Going To Weld Sheet Metal On There However I Got A Question.
Should I Weld Them From The Interior Or Should I Weld Them From Underneath?
If you cut the floor accurately enough you can fit the new piece in flush, then weld and grind and you won't be able to tell that there is even a repair in place. If you do have to lap Baz has the right idea, anywhere you can't weld use 3M Seam Sealer.
1 thing i forgot to say was
dont weld long runs in 1 go ,do a bit here a bit there so you even out the stresses and let it cool often so it dont warp the floor, even use a damp rag to cool the welds after they go from yellow to black anything to reduce warping
