Do they make a replacement for the front end under panel that holds the battery or will i have to cut it out and weld sheet metal? I have a '69 that has a huge rusted out hole where the battery sits along with a few good dents.

Thanks,

Bo

Yea, I realized that after i started poking around. So i didn't order a catalog like i said i was doing. So, Never Mind, as Gilda used to say!

does the panel come off or do i have to cut it. I wonder how the fiberglass pieace fits. Has anyone had to repair the under panel before?

Belly Pan

Anybody out there fabricate their own belly pan out of sheet metal? I paid $300 for my 73 GT and hate to double the investment on one small piece. Besides I have access to a High School metal shop. My belly pan was cut out years ago and I have nothing to go by. I could use a good sketch of the front opening and a view from the underside.

They only way you will be able to reproduce it is to see one for yourself.
It is basically slightly rounded and has a rib in the center that is parallel to the long axis of the car. The rib protrudes toward the ground.
