I have a green front and rear window that I'm looking to trade if you want. I already have a green and a clear rear and you can buy the rear off me if you want. The Front alls I have is a green, and I would like to trade someone with a good shape clear. From what I hear they are from the older Models, and to some people, worth more. The green is a UV blocker, and keeps out a lot of sun. Would possibly like to trade with someone that lives close to me, to save us the 100 dollar shipping..but we'll see. I live in Saginaw MI just so ya know. I hope to get some responses!

Just how green is your windshield? Is it just the band across the top, or is it completely green? I have a front piece that is completely blue (looks blue, maybe it's green?).

This is the first time I have seen such a thing in an Opel, but if I remember right, completely tinted windows were something that may be more common in the south and southwest, kind of like the 'desert cooling' packages other makes would offer as an option.

Its the whole windsheild. Your story sounds a lot like what I heard too.. I know its to block out UV and keep the inside cooler. From what I heard it works great, but I honestly dont like how it looks.

Also, from what I heard they are less common..front and back. I guess its just ones preferance on who likes them and such. Probably more of a collecters item too, if you like to have original, rare parts on your car.
