One last stab before I give this to my brother. He likes to take things apart to see how they work. ;)

One engine, comes with everything. Alternator/Rad/Distrib/Weber Carb/ Back up rebuildable weber/ Extra starter/ Extra alternator, ect ect.

It is still in the car and runs good. It is running a little rich because the carb is out of adjustment. Come out and take a look. Drive it around the block.

Engine and everything you care to pull out of the engine bay: 200 Bucks

Trans: works great, again come try it out. 80 bucks. Now that is just insane. but you will have to pull it yourself. You can also have the rear diff.

I will sell the entire car for 240 bucks. Come take a look. The car drives fine and the brakes work but it has no glass or signal lights. There are many other parts on the car, door pulls, whole dash, ect.

I am in Streamwood, IL. Do not send me a private message email me at [email protected].

 Dang it! All the good bargains seem to be happening in the north-central. You didn't metion what the body is like and why your brother would want to take apart a running engine!?
What better way to learn how things work then by taking them apart ;)

Does anyone want this car? It really would be a shame to scrap it. I am certain you could may your investment back by selling the remaining signal lights, dash parts, ect..

The body is dead, and I mean really dead. It would take many many hours to get the body into 'winter beater' shape. There is one gallon of bondo on this car, and it has already shed a gallons worth. There just isnt much of this car left under the bumper line, I would say the last resto on this car was about 20 years ago. It started out a Metallic Blue, and then was white. I suspect the engine was rebuilt during the last restoration, and that is why it runs so well. It doesnt leak a drop of oil, or burn oil. It has a Weber carb, with a manual choke.

I am preping my house for sale. It is empty and I am just finishing the bathroom remodel. HUGE time crunch. All that is left is this car. It has got to go. I really wanted to crate engine and trans and bring it with me but there were bigger priorities. I may yank the carb and head and squeeze them into my carry-on luggage so I can ebay them from my new place.
