saw an 72 Opel GT at Pull-N-Save today

body is rusty but has Weber 32/36 seats have been recovered no tears

door panels also

most parts there, dash busted, tail lights are in good shape

Side marker on right is good. The one on the left side the edge is cracked but still good.

front bumper is in good shape, grill good front markers gone

i might head over there Sat. if anyone needs anything let me know

Parts in CO are cheaper then TX to give yo an idea

I like - I got a good bumper on the front now but all the chrome has deteriorated to the point that it looks like pewter. When ,where and how $$ ?

Rear differential

If it has a rear differential under it and it looks to be in good shape, I would be interested in it. Where in CO are you and how close is it to Ogden Utah. I have no problem taking a road trip to come get it if necessary.

baronbors price would be what ever they charge me and you got buy breakfast at the next TX Opel event that we attend.

lewdawg-- I would have to take a look at the rear end cant remember how hard it is to pull a ring and pinion with the rear end in the car.

Might be to much of a pain in the neck. I do have a special barrels spline tool some where around here. Might be easier just to pull the whole rear end.

If it turns out to be an early rear end in the 72 would you still want it?

I would suggest getting a 3.90 gear set from an Isuzu impulse.

sorry guys all the parts are gone except the rear end

I had spent 3hrs pulling a motor and trans out of a MR2 so I was not motivated to lay on the ground anymore today.

nope front bumper is gone

Almost all the parts I mentioned that where good are gone

plus the steering wheel

we used to get every steering column we could get our hands on

just so we could get the ignition switch. next would be the side markers

then the head light relays after that the headlight rotators

I always like having an extra rotator since they are such a pain to get when you really need one.
