I just had my stock flywheel resurfaced and now i notice that the manual says to either use some emory cloth or buy a new flywheel......nothing about resurfacing. Given that it's been resurfaced (both the friction area and the pressure plate mounting surface) should I set my intial adjustment of the ball stud (3/4 inches out of the clutch housing) and release lever (4 1/4 inches between lever and clutch housing face) any differently??
Also.....I've read some posts in here about lightening the flywheel (down to 18 lbs or so)......is it worth the effort (and will the machine shop know just what to do?) and are there any drawbacks to doing that?
Thanks
