them damn lines busted again!!!!! well my gas tank vapor lines are dry rotted on the ends, so I cut the tips and put them back on. that was about a week ago, and i went out today to check on my baby and saw they were split about 2 inches up. when i took out all of the hose's I cut one all the way open and found out they are dry rotted from the inside. I want to replace the vapor lines, but I want to get them from a local auto store, instead of OGTS, it takes to long to get here!!! well, my question is do you guys know if you can get this line/ tubing at autozone, or anything like that??? I dont want to bum a ride and they not have it... :D .lol

gas vapor lines

I have replaced several gas vapor lines as well as the water drip lines on the side for our GTs. (Smallest person gets nominated to crawl in the back of the GT  ) For the vapor lines we have used rubber fuel line and for the water drip lines we used heater hoses. Works great and doesn't cost much.

Use the search feature; there are a number of threads regarding this topic. But in simple terms, 5/16 inch fuel line works perfectly. Just re-use the existing nylon tee next to the fuel filler neck, as the tee has an internal restriction orifice.

there is one vent line that goes through the floor under the fuel tank, and that one can be a beast to get, unless of course you have the gas tank out. i used some snowmobile fuel line that was a little smaller than 5/16, tight fit and its very flexable and you can make sharp corners with it.
