I drove my gt to my night job...I touched my fusebox and she died on the lot...I have short or ground problem somewhere
in the fusebox..last time it happened I was able to wiggle wires in the box and get it to start...she will fire up.. and run as long as the starter is engaged...but she will not maintain running in the "run position"...

wouldnt this be a power wire to coil problem?
solution 1#
I can start to wiggle wires again when i get off work at 9pm..but...
solution 2-
can I bypasss the fusebox to maintain the "run"..I want to open the hood and connect wires,,where do I run wire"from and to"

would a fused jumper from the battery to the coil work?
(again starter turns fine)

why?

why dirve a 33 year old car to the middle of no where?

It was the 5000rpm acceleration run with 70's michael jackson music at 20 watts..the sounds..the road feel ...modern cars lost all of this...

photo of my insurance policy I carry with me.$59 at costco..
cables,battery,voltmeter,airpump and light...no spill container:D

Sounds like the connectors in the side of the fusebox are loose. Check the two that go to the steering column harness. They can get hot and melt/deform making it hard to eget a good connection.
