I heard on here that it drains the battery. I don’t know why it posted so many times too.

That has been posted here a lot but it’s not true.
I have one in my house running off of a rechargeable 9V battery. It will run it for a few weeks at a time.

Looks remarkably "varmint-free" for a field car...🦝
But we think it might have a wasp problem because we saw some flying around and going in the car.

If I may make a suggestion, your videos are coming along great but was unable to like it, Maybe because I wasn't actually on YouTube?
Anyway I know your super stoked about everything that's happening for you BUT your excitement has you speaking faster (at times) than we understand.
I had to rewind a few times to catch what you were saying.
Just a thought Sam, keep on opeling young man (y)(y)

I see you're keeping a journal/folder of your project for 4-H. I was in 4-H for a while. Most members in my club raised livestock as a project. But I think you're taking it to another level by raising a herd of Opels. Keep up the good work!
Yep I do 4-h. Most people do animals but we don't have any. I am hopeing to keep a binder of this 73 Gt too! The judges love it and they want me to bring my 69 GT in next year.

Maybe it's time to take a step back and think about the project as a whole. Ask what your grandpa and others around you think. From my point of view, with the amount of rust damage to the substructure and the amount of welding, fabricating, or finding replacement metal and the time and cost involved, I question if it's worth saving. I wouldn't waste the time and effort in cleaning stuff like the carpet that is probably already stinky from the mice and worn down to the point where there is no carpet. It might be better to remove the entire interior as well as the gas tank and spray everything with a soapy bleach mixture. If you're still trying to save it, start with the metal work first, but reassess as you go.
