Well, as a short introduction, I'm 23, selling my 2000 Subaru Impreza, and going the cheap car route for now (there are other things to spend money on).

My father has a 73 GT, which he's decided to give to me (damn nice of him, and I'm pretty psyched).

Anyway, it's an automatic. Oddly enough, I drive auto's terribly. I don't know what it is, but I'm dangerous behind the wheel of an automatic. (besides that, I have more plans for the car, but that's not for a while...but yes, I want to Autocross it someday)

I tried searching, but was unable to find any results. I'm wondering what the feasability and cost of an AT to MT swap would be? And yes, I would plan on doing most (if not all) the work myself. Thanks!
