of German design

Rice your Opel with a Rotory? Go for it! You can tell folks that the motor was designed by a German Dr.FelixWankel. And the first twin rotor production car (Ro80) was produced in the mid '60's by NSU Werke based in Necharsulm Germany. Mazda under license came out with their first production twin rotor car in '67.
Here is a link to Dr.FelixWankel's bio.

Hope this helps, and yes it is a slow news day.

Heck, the rotary gets no respect from the 'rice' crowd anyway. The black sheep of the Japanese automotive world.

I love the rotary. In the future, that will be the route I go with my GT.

For autocrossing, I'll leave the engine stock, but when I plan on participating in track events and such, it'll be a 13B NA.
