I just purchased a 66 Pontiac GTO. Been sitting in a barn, covered up all original, interior in perfect condition. Put points and plugs in, put some gas in, drove this car home.....I havent decided yet if I'm going to sell my Opel GT...Any interested Opelers? Went to purchase a tractor and noticed a car coverd up..
The rest is history..........

I have an idea, why don't you donate your car..TO ME! :D Just kidding. You have a BEAUTIFUL car man. My advice is find someway to keep your GT and treasure it forever. By the looks of it, you have many hours..days..weeks, all that, put into your car, and you would probably be hurting very badly if you did get rid of it. What I would do for a car like yours...oh man. Anyways, do what you can to try to keep both cars, if not, I really hope you sell it to someone with a love for Opels.

about 2 years. Everything in my car has been done....Everything..
Bushings, bearings, shocks, gas tank and sending unit, 3 core radiator, head completely done, new rings, bearings, new carpet, new alternator, fuel pump, brakes, brake lines, calipers, lights rewired, headliner, window rubber and chrome, all door rubber,
transmission seals, clutch, press plate, release bearing, pilot bearing, new carb. and hoses, new radiator hoses, top and bottom, new waterpump, New tires and Rims, new lenses front and back, new exhaust engine back, new rear end bushings, new coil spring bushings, (Why am I trying to do here sell me car?).....etc......The only things left to do is a Stereo, one of the headliner rod keep coming down, and a few area need touch up paint (one area chipped when installing doors, one area I got alittle carried away with the buffer and took the paint down to primer, about the size of a dime, and I missed painting one corner on the spoiler....)
After that she is done............Anyone Interested......?????
You can drive this car home, I wouldn't be afaid to drive it anywhere......
