I've been looking for an OPel GT for sale in the mid-atlantic area. I would like to find on that can be depended on as a daily driver, without too much investment. I have been checking on Ebay and all that i find are cars in california and washington. Ebay has had some good deals, but having to get a car across the country is a bit freaky. If the car is in drive-away shape, i'd be willing to drive a four or five hour trip. If anyone can point me in the right direction, please let me know

How much are you willing to spend. I have run across one recently for $1,800 that was driveable had a good eng, transmission, with some rust (around the wheels, and windows). The brakes worked well but needed to be looked at. If I did not already have one, (and extra space to store it) I would have picked it up.

I do not know if it is still for sale but it was back in April. I will find out for you.

Id prefer to stay under $5,000, but dont know if ill get quality in that range.

Stanley, that is one sweet car and it would definately be my second choice of car that has been up for sale here recently.
