if i'm not mistaken the only wires going ont he speedometer should be for the lights in the back. brown is always ground on a GT, so far that i'm aware of anyway. and use a test light to find the hot wires for your lights.
Oh no you didn't mark them! Just kidding they are all ground and they hook to all those lugs on the edge of the speedo. It makes no difference what order, just be sure you get them all or something won't work. What was wrong with it anyway?
it was stuck on 30 mph, so i took it out and poped the chrome off of it and loosened the screws on the back and then the were two more screws on the inside i loosened them and put a washer in between the two screws in the inside, and it looks good now. by the way when i put a pencil in where the cable goes it jumps so i think i fixed it
Went through the normal fault find process earthed wire at tank end across fuel gauge goes up to maximum so not gauge got to be sender.
Just fitted new fuel sender from Opel GT Source ( removed transit pin and warning sticker ) checked earth wires clean and tight and plenty of fuel
I know I’m in the vast minority, but I want to get the system in my Manta working again. The buzzers were removed (anyone have any?) and the seat sensor will trip the light on every bump. Looking under the driver’s seat there’s a wire that’s disconnected. Anyone know where they go or can reply...
With a bit of research I determined that there are not less than 417 methods for installation of an electric windshield washer pump. After full and due consideration to each and every one, it was determined that #295 was the best for Viole and me. YMMV:
I started with a tank, pump and wiper arm...
Hi! After several years I'm finally installing the dash and instrument cluster. Can someone provide me with the proper hardware used for mounting the instrument cluster and the screw type for mounting the dash to the body? Thanks in advance!
