I don't know...

The ad says " needs interior and body work"
Um... isn't hacking off the roof the easy part? :)
it's the finishing that's the pain. Hard to tell from the picture, could be rough or could be good. Anybody in the area to check it out?

if you notice the doors have been cut down too. I don't know this one but it looks to be carved at and then they saw the unibody issues and the project was abandened. The Red one looks ok but the price is high for one car and another that seems to needs some attention. No mention of frame work in the add is a give away.

Well, sort of. Its the prep work BEFORE you cut the roof off that is the hard part. If you don't reinforce it correctly, it folds up like an accordian.

I'd say of the prefab, cutting, and after cutting finishing, the hardest and easiest have been done for you. Now just do the rest of the body work and interior and engine and your done. Simply said I know... But...

As "nobody" said the price is a little steep. Also as Thom said the "prep work BEFORE you cut the roof off that is hard." Talk to opelspyder as he did the "spyder" that Dallas got, that took overall in Charlotte this past weekend. He (opelspyder ) added a brace that came from the rear door pillor to the frame and was adjustable. I didn't get a chance to speak to him long about the building of the car, but what little time I got to, was very interesting. Jarrell
