Does anyone know where I can find the directions to installing a relay to lessen the load on the ignition switch on a gt inorder to help it last longer? I'm sure I can figure it out but some help would be good. Thanks.

You can use an aftermarket fog light relay.
One side of the relay coil goes to ground. Disconnect the wire on the solenoid that is closest to the fender and connect it to the other side of the relay's coil. Run a wire from one of the relays N.O. contact terminals to the solenoid and the other (Common) to a 12 volt source.

Now when you turn the key, the only current that goes through the key switch is what's needed to activate the coil, saving the ignition switch.

Otto-Start

And there is also Otto Bartsch's "Otto-Start"device, which he makes up using a Bosch relay and some pre-made wiring and connectors. He makes up a dozen or so at a time and makes them available to members of this list and the classicopels list. I don't have one, but I understand it just sits on top of the starter solenoid, and is easily "plugged in". I believe he charges something like $30 (U.S. Dollars) for the kit. He can be reached via the member list via his nickname "tekenaar" or via the Yahoo instant messanger service at "tekenaar42 ". HTH.

Is there a cad type that can be uploaded so I could maybe show the full interlock diagram? To put it in a pic format is too hard to follow since my hand drawings would be included and I draw like most doctors write thier names.
