Well, I am trying to get the Opel on the road now that I have fixed the Camaro. I need to know if I can get some of these parts locally or if I have to call Gil. I would like to get them locally if possible to increase the chances of taking the GT to a meet this weekend.. I'm wondering if there is any chance at all on any of these parts, and know you can't tell me for sure they are available locally =). I have a 1970 Opel GT and I need the following:

Master Cylinder (MC) reservoir
Seals between MC and reservoir
Braided brake hose
And this set of wires that plug into my alternator (wires go into plastic plug which then plugs into alternator)

Is the Braided brake hose a part a general auto parts store would carry (this is the part I'm most curious about)? I found the MC at Napa and saw on a post on this site that someone else has used this part successfully - so that should be okay. Also found (online at least) the Caliper rebuild kits at both AutoZone and Advance Auto, but we will see if they have them in stock.

Now I get the fun and joy of removing and replacing the MC... in 90 degree plus weather! Serves me right for not doing it this winter (when it was to cold =) ).

Thank you all in advance!
:D

I got all but a couple of the parts locally! The poor guys didn't know what to think of my little happy dance ;). OGTS is sending the rest and I should get it by Friday. Course the more work I do on this car the more I find that needs to be done. <sigh> The braided hose I was asking about is the big vacuumn hose - but I didn't know that at the time and OGTS set me straight and they are sending me one.

Thank you all for your time and help!
